A: Yes, we can port your phone number for a one-time fee of $25. If you currently have a metro phone number and you port it to us, people calling you will call a metro phone number.
Q: Is there any equipment to buy?
A: For residential plans, Eccentrix will provide you with the device to plug your phone into. The only thing you need is a phone. The system works with any phone that takes a regular phone jack.
Q: Do you offer all the features I currently have with my phone line?
A: Yes, we offer call waiting, caller ID, 3-way calling, virtual voicemail, and much more.
Q: Can I use my computer while I am on the phone?
A: Although the phone is going through the internet connection, it is completely independent from the computer, so you can use both at the same time.
Q: What will happen in bad weather?
A: Because this phone line requires an internet connection, if you internet service is down for any reason, your phone line will also be down.
